It might only have been two days, but I cannot express how thankful I was to have Monday and Tuesday off. I am exploring ways to make my lessons more engaging and wanted to somehow incorporate Black out poetry into my class. This blog has been very helpful as I explore as well as this one.

I am so glad that I decided to stop by your blog. This week I am doing a mini poetry unit and have haiku's and black out poetry on the list of things to do. I think when students see black out poetry, they do not realize how much work and creativity goes into making each one and all they see is how much fun they have drawing and coloring in the pages.
